The show was wonderfully created
No elegance was limited
Laughter filled the room
And the smiles of a million people were captured on one face
It was a beautiful life
No mistakes in its perfection
And love was the foundation
At least that is what everyone thought
Until the day truth revealed itself
No pain ever dug so deep into the core of an unsuspecting soul
That suffered from the numbness of daggers a lifetime ago
Than the final goodbye
It was torture unknown to a world of sufferers
The tears that poured filled streams of unhappiness that flowed into the reservoirs of a depressed mind
There were no varying waves to predict the everlasting impact a tsunami would have left on the fragile heart
Like a rare jigsaw puzzle with too many missing pieces, the surgeons could do nothing to save it
It destroyed every hope of a miracle never to come
The wretched storm ended only to reveal the most dreaded prison
It was a mind trapped with mirrors that reflected the most hurtful times
And loud speakers echoing the final words of every love song ever sang
The melodies flowed like tears from a mother who loss her only child
And sometimes there was stillness and a glimpse of a twinkling eye
It provided hope of rainbows never to be seen
And the agony of trying to grasp it was distressing
But no strength was spared
Over and over again, the shattered heart crumbled into bits of forgetful memories
And the effects of what was slowly became less destructive
Instead of rain on a cold day, the sky was flooded with dark clouds
But the ones that kissed the sea had a flicker of light; a tiny bright one
In time, the sunshine appeared
And the prison sentence ended
A treasure box piled with love filled the gaps and holes of the heart
While an angel used life to sew the bits and pieces together
And then one day the smile appeared
And it wasn’t forced or planned or even conceived in the what ifs
It happened in the exact moment she decided to turn her back to the past
And make one step to the future
Now everything seems to be magnified with joy
And every day there are cheerful voices
Memories of yesterday sometimes resurface
Only now they’re painted with good wishes
And love for an eternity
Like a beautiful flower, she has grown
And like fine wine, she only gets better with time
Her worst days are packed with smiles
And on her best days she remembers to thank him for wounding her into complete contentment
There’s nothing more magnificent than a pain healed with love
